DAVENPORT, Iowa - Elouise Ann Conrad, 87, of Davenport, formerly of Wilton, died on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at her daughter's home in Dallas, Texas.
Services are at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport. Casket bearers will be Ken Haskins, Marvin Duesterhaus, Dean Duesterhaus, Steven Price, William Kopcho and Mike Buckwalter. Henry Price will serve as honorary casket bearer. Burial will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.
Visitation is at Bentley Funeral Homes in Wilton. A Christian wake service will be conducted at
the funeral home. Memorials may go to the Holy Family Catholic Church or St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wilton.
Elouise Ann Waters was born Dec. 24, 1916, to Walter and Nellie McGann Waters in Timewell, Ill.
She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Quincy, Ill. in 1937. She was a registered nurse at St. Mary Hospital in Quincy in her early years. Ms. Conrad was a member of the Visiting Nurses Association for 37 years. She was co-owner of Wilton Floral with her twin sister for many years.
She was a member of the National League of Nurses and Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards and being with her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Conrad Hoffman and husband Gene Hoffman of Dallas, Texas; nieces and nephews including Kenneth Haskins, Joan Price, Marvin Duesterhaus, Roger Duesterhaus and Lonny Hull.
Miss Conrad was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister Eleanor Haskins; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Roberts and Bernadine Cramer and brother, Wayne Waters
