I see the Conyers in Fauquier County and Dennis is referred to in a land deed as early as 1723. However, subsequent deeds refer to John ( or his widow Alice) as the grandson of Dennis. You seem to make him the son of Dennis. What is the source of your information in Stafford County? I was trying to stretch all the way back to the references to Dennis in Lancaster County, VA who immigrated in 1652 and died in 1656 (with no children) but leaving his land in Lancaster County to his cousin Dennis (who was a servant[endentured?] to Colonel Matthews (in Westmoreland County).

Obviously, I am having trouble making the stretch.
