I have some information on my ancestors.
My gggrandfather came from Pennsylvania. My ggrantfather was born in Pa.They moved to Indiana in the 1840s. My gggrandfather was 41 at the time of the 1860 census for Decatur co.In. My ggrandfather was 16 at that time.
He enlisted in the 7th Indiana inf.in Oct.1861. He was mustered out in July of 1865. He married my gggrandmother(Susan Francis Stapp)in 1866. They must have moved to Iowa soon after that as my grandfather was born in Ia. in 1870. ?????
