My husband's Corbin/Gaunt line is through this JOHN CORBIN.
His son, JOHN (1698, VA -- 1758, King George Co., VA) and unknown wife, had a son, JOHN who married FRANCES FANT.
JOHN's brother, WILLIAM, (my husband's line) married FRANCES's sister, SARAH. WILLAIM & SARAH had a son, JOHN M. CORBIN (1757, VA -- 1/16/1813, Culpeper Co., VA). His wife was FRANCES THATCHER who died 5/1/1814. This JOHN M. CORBIN is the brother of my husband's 3rd great grandmother, CATHERINE CORBIN, who married ANDREW GAUNT.
Culpeper Co., Deed Book AA, 525, William Corbin, No. 13, purchased the interest of his co-heirs in certain land which his father, No. 4, owned at his death; and, in that deed, the grantors are described as follows:

JOHN CORBIN, b. 3 Jan. 1747; d. 16 June 1813; m. Frances
Thatcher, who d. 1 May 1814, in her 57th year. (Grave Stones).
Culpeper Minute Book No. 8, page 8, shows that on 21 Mar. 1814.
"Frances Corbin, widow of John Corbin, deceased, by her note filed,
refused to abide by the will of her said husband." The book in which
this will was recorded is missing from the clerk's office.
