Hi there, I have some information on Josephine Korte plus I have a photo and a holy card from her funeral. She was born 31 May 1843, cenus says Ohio but death obituary says Franklin County, IN she passed away 19 December 1920. She is buried St Vincents Cemetery Shelby County IN. She married Henry Cord on 9 April 1863, in Franklin County, IN They had 6 children I have her father's name as Dick Korte born in Germany and her mother as I. Wyhoff or Wykoff (last name maybe mis spelled)she too was born in Germany in Franklin County census of 1850 Ray township shows a Theodore Korte (misspelled Korta) 41, Andolet 30, Josephine 7 yrs which matches our grandmothers birthdate yr of 1943, Henry 4 and Catherine 1 yrs old. Thats all I have on this family at this time.
