I am seeking information on Errett Loban Cord of automobile fame. After the Cord auto empire collapsed in the late 1930's, his career shifted to politics in Nevada. SSDI records indicate Mr. Cord's last residence was in Washoe, NV before he passed on in early 1974. Thanks, Dan (Danp360814@aol.com

I saw your message regarding E. L. Cord. I too was looking for information, however, on his son Charles Cord, who built an apartment building on Spalding Drive in Beverly Hills in 1938 that I currently live in. Apparenty Charles owned the building from 1938 to 1950, and it was designed by Paul R. Williams. I contact the Auborn-Cord Automobile museaum and they said the correct spelling on E L Cord is Erritt Lobban Cord. His first name was the last name of the family minister, and Lobban is his mother's maiden name. Good luck.
