Hi. E L
Cord
was my step-fathers uncle. I saw your posting and found this web site hope this helps.
http://www.7stringuitar.com/eastcoast/history.html
I had a family history of the Cord's dating back to an aide to
Napoleon
Bonaparte
but it was destroyed in a fire. I will try to contact some of my family members to see if one of them still has a copy. If I find one I will give you as much info as I can.

Thanks for the information. I haven't been able to get through all of it. E.L.'s mother is my research link to him. I would love any additional information you are able to share. I haven't gotten much research on this line t this time..... too bad about the history being destroyed maybe it can be reconstructed by others... thanks again,,,,,,,G

Found these sites in regards to E. L. Cord. They have some good info. The second link has a copy of his grave marker on it and both have his picture. Hope they do you some good.
