Her siblings and decendants from that do live in cheshire, not far from Crewe if that helps. If you do find any links then il check this out incase you got anywhere.
I'm a descendant of the Corks and have been researching this family for some time. I have the information as to when John Cork left Antrim, Ireland for America. Why is it that there is no info on him prior to leaving Ireland. I can't even find any Corks in Ireland. I can find nothing on his wife. Anyone know why there is no info on him from Ireland, or how to attain it? Thanks very much!

HENRY CORK b.abt. 1838 -- where?

I am trying to find where HENRY CORK was born and have had little luck. From the census' (1861 to 1901) different places were named including: Croydon, Epsom and Norwood. I have been unable to find a HENRY CORK (born around these areas) in the birth indexes for a couple of years bracketing when he was born (abt. 1838). I have tried to find his father WILLIAM HENRY CORK in the census' hoping this would help, but have been unable to locate him. Any advice on what to try next would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Dee,
if I am not mistaken,Ronnie Cork died. I think That information is correct. But he lived on Davidison Run. About 5 years ago we stopped and visited with him and his wife who used to be a good friend of my mothers as well as a cousin to her.
I do have pictures od the cemetery and would be glad to copy them and mail them to you if you send me your mailing address. Send m it on my e-mail at ceecee@ctol.net.
I have not been to the Mt. Claire cem. Where is it located/ I will try and get there in July when we go to the Cork reunion.
It would be nice if you and your family could come to the reunion. It is held in July every year at the Doddridge County Park. Take the Snowbird exit off rt. 50. to get there. When I get your address, I will give it to the ones who send out the reminders so you will get one.
Charlotte

Dear Ray, Just come across your entry. I have been researhing Cork Family from Norfolk for some time now and it sounds very much like your request.
My husband is related to James , one of the other children of Joseph Cork and Ann Panton ( you have Fenton) I am not sure if it is Fenton or Panton, but I think it may be Panton as some of James children has Panton as their second name.
I have a fair bit of information of Robert Cork and William Cork as well as James Cork- all three of which came to NSW.
Willing to share what I have and hope we can be of help to each other in our search.
Looking forward to hearing from you
From Lyn Kirkland in Sydney, Australia
Hi Linda,

My Corks came to Australia about 1840s from Norwich, Norfolk, England. So not sure if connected as I am trying to find out more about the Cork family in England. Have a fair bit on the 3 Cork brothers that came to Australia. The first one to come was a convict.
The three brothers were James, William and Robert.
Let me know if you have gone back any further than 1900s
Best wishes from Lyn in Australia
