      <description>YOUNGSTOWN – Patricia Mae (Corll) Lindsay, 59, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Health Center.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Born Nov. 24, 1952, in Youngstown, Ohio she was the daughter of Robert and Naomi (Upole) Corll. &lt;br&gt;Pat was a life long resident of the area. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She had worked at the Boardman-Canfield-Youngstown Day Care as a preschool teacher, but most recently, she was employed at the Lynkirk  Preschool in Austintown, Ohio. She enjoyed traveling,  concerts, and always enjoyed family times together.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David, whom she married on April 18, 1992.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Survivors include her brother, Robert (Mary Anne) Corll of Boardman, Ohio; nieces, Rachael Kostelic and Amy Leonard; nephew, Stephen Corll; special uncle and aunt, Paul and Vivian Corll of Florida; and cousins, Helen and Mary Corll.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Friends will be received at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Graveside services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Green Haven Cemetery with Pastor Joel Theis officiating.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Family and friends may visit &lt;a href="http://www.lanefuneralhomes.com" target="_blank"&gt;www.lanefuneralhomes.com&lt;/a&gt; to view this obituary and to send condolences&lt;br&gt;</description>

      <description>SHARPSVILLE, PA. – Professor Emeritus Beverly Jean Corll Lewis, Slippery Rock University, of 1621 Hartford Road, passed away after an extended illness.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was born in Hubbard, Ohio (Mahoning County) on June 25, 1937, a daughter of Oscar F. Corll and Freda Wise Corll.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She married Scott W. Lewis on Aug. 6, 1966, at the Hubbard Methodist Church.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;After graduating from Hubbard High School, Beverly entered and graduated from Slippery Rock State University, where she majored in physical education. Subsequent to completing her undergraduate requirements, she continued her education to pursue and complete the requirement for her Master’s degree. As an outstanding athlete, she was elected to the Slippery Rock University Sports Hall of Fame. She loved teaching physical education. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Beverly loved her work and performed it well. She was a student teacher supervisor for 32 years and took a personal interest in each of her students, always helping, counseling and mentoring, where possible.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Her students were assigned to schools throughout western Pennsylvania. She was also responsible for student teachers in Ireland and military bases in Germany. During this time, she made many close friends abroad. Her responsibilities took her across the Atlantic 55 times by air. She had the privilege of working at the Summer Olympics held in Rome. She loved her work, her students, and Slippery Rock University. Upon her retirement, Slippery Rock bestowed upon her the honor of Professor Emeritus.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She enjoyed people and was like by all who knew her. She was a professional in all respects. As such, she was named Businesswoman of the Year by the Sharon Chapter of the American Businesswomen’s Association.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Beverly and her husband, Scott, loved to travel. Over the years, the toured more than one hundred countries, many of them more than once. She collected many artifacts during her travels. She was also keenly interested in antiques. She was a serious photographer, having taken numerous pictures during her travels, special events, and family gatherings, all of which are a part of a sizable photo library.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Beverly and Scott had a lifelong devotion to each other. They were inseparable, where you saw one, you saw the other. They had no children. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Her parents predeceased her.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In addition to her beloved husband, Scott, she is survived by her sister, Marjorie E. Bucci of Hubbard, Ohio. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Recognition and thanks are extended to the group of wonderful care givers. It was only through their special loving care and diligent effort that made it possible for “Bev” to spend her final years in the warmth and comfort of her own home.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;There will be no visiting hours.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Private funeral services will be Friday, May 6, 2011, at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Rademacher, nephew, will officiate.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Arrangements are being handled by the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home, 1090 East State St. in Sharon, Pa.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Internment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Hermitage, Pa.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

      <description>AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Smith Corners United Methodist Church for Jay Corll who died Friday morning,  April 14, 2011 at his residence.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Jay was born June 25, 1932, in Canfield, Ohio the son of Chauncey Jay Corll Sr. and Harriet A. Freed Corll and was a lifelong area resident.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Jay retired in 1991 from East Ohio Gas where he had been employed in the pressure dept. for 34 years. He also was a lifetime farmer which he loved.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was an active member of the Smith Corners United Methodist Church where he served on many boards and was a trustee. &lt;br&gt;Jay was also a member of the Mahoning County Farm Bureau and served in the Army during the Korean War.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, the former Alice Jean Hopes Corll, whom he married July 5, 1952; children, David and Cathy Corll of Portage, Indiana, Ronald and Caryn Corll of Cartersville, Ga., Paul and Diana Corll of Shippensburg, Pa., Michael Corll of Canal Fulton, Ohio Gerry Williams of Austintown and Nora Ranalli also of Austintown.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Jay also leaves his sister, Mary Ellen Fink of Lehigh, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was preceded in death by his son, Chauncey Jay Corll III; and brother, Lewis Corll.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church prior to services.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to MVI Hospice, 4891 Belmont Ave., Youngstown, OH 44505 or the church Memorial Fund in Jay’s name.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Family and friends may visit &lt;a href="http://www.lanefuneralhomes.com" target="_blank"&gt;www.lanefuneralhomes.com&lt;/a&gt; to view this obituary and send condolences.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

      <description>I have a wonderful Corll memoir given to me by Bob Orr. It mentions the people you posted.
