I'm descended from the Cormacks of Knockmoyleen in County Mayo. My Great Grandfather Anthony Cormack (son of Francis Cormack who had married Mary Sweeney in 1869)left Mayo at the end of the nineteenth century and moved to Northumberland, England and became a policeman.
