Charles Cornelis, Holland>Missouri>Michigan?

I'm looking for information on Charles Cornelis. He was born in Holland 16 Mar 1847. He moved to Bois Brule, Perry, Missouri, about 1872 and had 4 kids: Peter Cornelis, Ida Pauline Cornelis, Ruddie Cornelis, and Alphonse B Cornelis. He married Renielde DeCoster/DeKoster after she immigrated from Watervliet, Belgium, in 1907. He then returned to Holland from 1913-1920.

I'd like to know what happened to him, his kids, and his wife Renielde. Thanks!

Thomas Cornelius

I am posting this query for Marlene Godwin. Her request below:

“My father was born in Larne, Co Antrim, N Ireland. He was the result of a wartime romance between my grandmother, Selena (Lena) Robinson and a man who was billeted in the family home in Bay Road, in the harbour area of Larne in Northern Ireland. This man's name we think was Thomas Cornelius and it was thought that he was from Wales. He was married when the romance happened – which was a great scandal at the time, and he disappeared. My father’s dying wish was to find his father. Thank you for reading this.” Marlene Godwin

If anyone knows anything please contact me at csbyler@bellsouth.net
