frankie was my actual brother. i miss him so much. the day i found out he was killed will always be the saddest day of my life. i miss his random middle of the night visits. you would never know which of his friends he would bring over to meet the family. he was a great person, an awesome big brother and even though he's gone he'll always be remembered.

Nevaeh Corral is not the daughter of Frankie Corral. She is not a family member. After Frankie's death a gal that had a 9 month old baby girl brought the baby forward and said it was Frankie's. Some of the family members believed this. A DNA was recently done and the results proved that the baby girl was not Frankie's baby. Frankie did not have any children.

My name is Brenda. I'm looking for information on my biological father, Alfonso Corral. The only information that I have is that he worked at the Continental or Intercontinental Plaza in Chicago in 1969. He and my mother dated for a short time before she became pregnant with me. It was at this time she learned he was in fact married with two children of his own, a daughter and son. I am almost 38 years old; I'm married and have 3 children of my own. I do not want to disrupt anyone else's family, that is not my intent. My only hope is to possibly receive a picture of this man that I can look at and catch a glimpse of myself. I would like to know where I come from, what kind of life he has led, what kind of person Alfonso is or was. I simply want to learn anything that I can. Thanks in advance for any help.

Frankie Corral Jr. III, 25, of Moses Lake, passed away Jan. 2, 2007.

Mr. Corral was born in Sunnyside, Wash., June 17, 1981.

Survivors include his father, Frank Corral, and stepmother, Maria Corral, both of Selah; his mother, Lori Graff of Moses Lake; a daughter, Nevaeh Corral of Moses Lake; a brother, Kirk Corral of Othello; three sisters, Coty Corral, Tamara Corral and Maria Corral, all of Selah, grandparents Richard and Sandra Graff, of Othello, and Edith Leal of Prosser.

A vigil service will be at 5 p.m. Monday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors, Yakima. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a. m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Yakima. Cremation services will follow. Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Sgt. Dennis A. Corral, 33, of Kearney, Neb., died on Jan. 1 in Baghdad, Iraq. He was in a convoy going to the Baghdad International Airport when his vehicle went out of control and rolled over. Corral was assigned to the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.

This incident is under investigation.

Ofelia P. Corral, 86, of Chula Vista died Sunday. She was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughters, Ofelia Beltran, Oralia Pacheco and Esther Corral-Oroz; sons, Harold Corral Jr. and Ruben Corral; sister, Herminia Guerrero; brother, Ernesto Aguila; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Interment: 10 a.m. today, Greenwood Memorial Park, Interstate 805 and Imperial Avenue, San Diego.

Arrangements: Community Mortuary.

Nogales, Ariz.: A cablegram was received here announcing the death in Paris of Ramon CORRAL, formerly Vice President of Mexico. All the members of his family were at his bedside. CORRAL, before his elevation to the Vice Presidency of Mexico during Diaz's regime, was Governor of Sonora. He had been in bad health several years.
