My father John ( Giovanni) Costanzo was the son of Erasmo Costanzo--from Capaci. Erasmo married Theresa Lamonica from Palermo. Both my father and his father were stone masons and bricklayers .My grandfather and grandmother had 14 children ( including my father) and migrated here twice ( my grandfather was called into the italian army after firs coming to the US in the early 1900's --he took his family back to Capaci in this period --and returned to the states in about 1920--They initially lived on the lower east side of NYC and moved to Jackson Heights queens in the 30's sometime. i hope this helps.
