PANZO, GENEVIEVE A. Genevieve Anne Costanzo Panzo, 99,
of Northford
passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011
at the Hospital of St. Raphael.
Wife of the late Louis Panzo.
Born in New Haven on October 1, 1911;
a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Nicolina Scalesse Costanzo. Genevieve was a loving, caring woman always there for others; she will truly be missed. Mother of Michael L. Panzo of Northford and Edward (Louise) Panzo of Hamden. Grandmother of Kristen Panzo. Great-grandmother of Andrew Sanjurjo-Panzo.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews,
great-nieces and great-nephews.
Predeceased by sisters Nellie DeFrancesco,
Mary Iannaccone
and brothers Anthony, John, Frank and Alfred Costanzo.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Wednesday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Monica Church at 10:00.
Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
The visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm.
