I'm searching for information about Stephen Costello, born in New York around 1900, son of Margaret Costello (don't know father's name) of Ireland. His siblings were Frank, Mary, Matilda, and maybe also John. I know that he lived on the Upper East Side (1453 Second Avenue) of Manhattan for some time but do not know where he went after about 1927.

Stephen fathered a child out of wedlock, Margaret, with a Julia Farrington in 1924, who later gave the child up for adoption in 1927. Sadly, Stephen did not wish to be involved with his daughter, though he did pay child support. I would love to know how the rest of his life turned out, as he is my great-grandfather (Margaret was my maternal grandmother). I am not interested in blame or hard feelings, just would like to know about the family my grandmother never knew.
