Robert A. Costello, age 76, of Cuyahoga Falls, died November 28, 2003.
An Akron native, Mr. Costello graduated from North High School and Kent State University, a teacher, he had retired from the Akron Board of Education and also retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Mr. Costello was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He was a veteran having served both in the Army and the Navy.
Preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Gertrude, and sister-in-law, Barbera Costello, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be sadly missed by his wife, Joanne ( Basone ) , to whom he was married 49 years ; son, Steven ; daughter, Jeanne Clark ( fiance, Dwight Parker ) , Karen Costello , Lisa ( Jeff ) Potts , Roseanne ( Don ) Zesiger , Lynne Pollard , Annmarie ( Michael ) Keogh ; sister, Betty ( Tony ) Decarlo , brothers, Raymond , Thomas ( Brenda ) , John ( Maggie ) ; brothers-in-law, Pete ( Marion ) Basone and Donald Basone ; sister-in-law, Rosemary ( Ted ) Major ; grandchildren, Sean , Colin , Austin , Anthony , Nicholas , Dominic , Evan , Adam , Steven and Carly ; many loving nieces and nephews.
Calling hours Tuesday 4-8 at Dunn-Quigley-Circello and Carr Falls Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, where the Firestone Post 3383 V.F.W. will conduct military services.
