Searching for descendants of Harriet Coster, nee Connor. originally married William Bradbury (1848) and had one daughter, HEliza harriet (b1850) who remained unmarried and moved to Brussels. after death of Bradbury (UNK?)Harriet then married William Coster (surgeon from Witheridge devon, d1870). they lived in London at St Pancras Informary then Hanwell Central Schools. They had five children, only 2 of which married and had children. Mary Louise was one of Harriets children, she married Robert Tyeth Stevens of Plymouth. She had 2 sons (one, Montague, was mentioned in Harriet's will) and 2 daughters. Montague married Leonora Cook in 1907 and had two sons and 2 daughters, Robert White Stevens who moved to US, and Harold Coster Stevens who married a mrs Newbury in 1935.(They had children). Harriet's other child who survived to have a family was Ernest Coster, he emigrated to Canada (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan) married and had 8 children (Harold, Violet, Ernest, Herbert, Daisy, Helen, Robert, Dorothy). At least one of these subsequently moved to the US, to Michigan.
I am in the process of writing a biography of Harriet Coster, who was matron at St GEorge's Hospital London from 1872-1897, and am keen to find some images of her and her husband as I have so far found none despite learning a great deal about her extended family. Her husband was an amateur photographer and at least one image of her existed as it is listed as part of an English nursing exhibition at the Grand Exposition in Chicago in 1893. If anyone can help put me in touch with descdants of this lady it would be great.
