Hello, all. I have been searching greatly but have come up empty. I have traced my line back to Dunwoody Costley (married, I believe, Mary Walston), born 1806. He had brothers named William and Warrenton and possibly Michael.

Somehow, I believe he is related to Pierce Costley, of South Carolina, b. 1779 or so. I have been told it is possible that Pierce had a brother named Uriah Dinwiddie or Denwoody Costley. Any ties?

Does anybody have a clue who Dunwoody's (father was? Dunwoody's grandson, Robert Lee, died in Heard Co, GA in 1943. The only living relatives that I know is my father, Robert Marvin, and he doesn't know.

The million dollar question: Who's Dunwoody's Daddy??? Does anyone in the Walston line know?
