Mr. Curtis Donald Costley, 64, of Rome Street, Carrollton, died Friday, April 18, 2008.
Mr. Costley was born in Douglas County on November 13, 1943, the son of the late Rutherford Guy Costley and Velma Gaston Costley. He was a real estate broker at Real Estate West, and earlier in his career, he established Costley Realty as one of the first real estate companies in Carrollton. He was member of Grace Covenant Church.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Peggy Costley; daughter, Kim C. Farrenkopf; sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Alana Costley and Judd and Tricia Costley, all of Carrollton; grandchildren, Payton Costley, Kendall Farrenkopf, Perri Costley, Kabe Farrenkopf, Palmer Costley, Paul Costley, Pace Costley, Brooks Costley and Molly Kate Costley.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 21, 2008, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Harthern and Dr. Alvis Harthern officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mike Horton, John Poppham, Sherman Strickland, Charles Pate, Ronnie Edwards, Dennis McDowell and Jimmy McDowell. Honorary pallbearers will be Horry Horton, Ronnie Deese, Byron Madden, Tim Warren, Chad Piland and Tony Dermo.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Interment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens.
