I would like to know a little more abt. him. I found an article in one of the newspapers here in Hays that he had owned a house that was built in 1867 in Rome, KS and had it moved to the lot that we now own. It was a historical house & was torn down in 1960 which is when the new owner built this house. I will be trying to find out more on the house.

I have found he & his family in the census records which shows they were in Hays by 1915 to 1930. 1930 shows he lived at 504 W 9th st., so I will see if that house is still there. The news article shows he sold the Rome house in 1929, so whether or not they actually lived in the house, I am not sure at this point.
