Hello. My Great Grandmother's name was Eleanor L Cote (may have had the two dots over the "o"), born 19 April 1926 in Holyoke Massachusetts, died 11 December 2001 in Lawrenceburg Indiana. She married a man by the name of Richard Webster (while still living in Mass. I believe) and had two children with him, Beverly and Donna (my biological grandmother). Absolutely NOTHING is known of Richard Webster...he and my Great Grandmother split up when the children were quite young. No one knows what happened, if he left or if she did, what the reasons were etc. Some people in my family have even gone so far as to say, only half jokingly, that she killed him and burried him in the back yard, lol (she was a rather...unpleasant woman)! Its almost as if he just disappeared...and all she would ever say to anyone was that he was a bum and a concert pianist.

After Richard Webster, she moved to either Ohio or Indiana and married Royale Standish (rumored to have been related to Miles Standish of Mayflower fame) and had several children, including, but not limited to Albert, Betty, Bill, David "Rock", and Pat.

No one really knows anything (ohter than some obvious facts) about my Great Grandmother...my grandmother (Donna Webster) died in childbirth around '71 and i dont think my grandfather really cared to know anything about her (again, she was just a terribly unpleasant individual). Hell, no one really knows anything about my grandmother either! Not even my mother, the oldest child, as she was only 4 when she died. My family is not big on commuinication, lol, they prefer to just keep things to themselves i guess. Anyway, I have located an Eleanor Cote in the census records and, while i have William and Alma Cote as her parents on my Tree,i just cant be sure that its the same Eleanor...we all know what happens when you just assume something, lol! Even if William and Alma are her parents, i could never find anything on Almas family, not even her maiden name! My Great Grandmother is the without a doubt the most puzzling individual ive ever dealt with.
