I am looking for information on John Eldridge Cothren, born in 1917 in Kiblah, Arkansas. He and his sister, Lena Belle (my mother) were placed in the Bottoms Baptist Orphanage in Monticello, Arkansas in 1926. He was adopted by a W. H. Stout, of Harrisburg, Arkansas in 1926. We have never heard from him since. I would love to find anyone who may have information on this family. My Mother, Lena Belle, searched until her death for him, I would like to finish the search.
He was the son of John Cothren and Della Mae Broom Cothren. He had two brothers, and three sisters, all gone now. His grandfather was James M. Cothren of Georgia. Please any help on him or this family would be greatly appreciated.
