Surnames: Cothran, Cothren, McClurd, McCarson,Smith(?)
Hello. I am the gggrandaughter of Charles and Mary Smith (?) Cothran. Charles Cothran was born 1808-09 Rutherford County, North Carolina. Mary was born 1822 in South Carolina. They lived in Dawnville or Dalton, Whitfield County, Georgia and had two daughters that I know of. My gggrandmother, Henrietta Cothran McClurd(married William Hix McClurd) and Harriet Cothran McCarson(married Henry McCarson). If anyone has a link to these folks, please get in touch.
