I was recently given a leather bound journal for the year 1945 with ducks on the cover and the imprinted name of Lieutenant Colonel S. E. Cotnam. Unfortunately someone has used part of it for a notepad in recent years, but it does contain 2 or 3 hand written pages in what appears to be the hand of Lt Cotnam. He refers to attending a meeting in Gen. Somervill's conference room, with Judge Patterson & Gen. Styer there; mentions other generals & senior officers. If this is someone's relative, I'd be glad to send the book for sentimental reasons.
