My great great grandmother was Catherine Cotter from Meenigorman, County Cork - near Newmarket. Her parents were John d. 1812 and Catherine d.1832. She married Jeremiah Quinlan. She had a brother William who had a son John and daughter Elizabeth(she married a Quinlan I don't think is related to my Quinlans). The son John married Bridget (Murphy?). According to the 1901 Ireland Census the following children resided on Meenigorman (townland) : Patrick, Bridget, Norah and Catherine. I do not know if anyone immigrated or not. Would love to hear of anyone related.
