Cotters of Gortnacowly, Bantry?

I've seen some posts about Cotters in Bantry, but they don't seem to be the same Cotters as my relatives. Does anyone have any information on Cornelius Cotter, b. 1841 who married Hanora (Honora, Honoria) Sullivan, b.1851. They had at least 11 children - Mary, Catherine, Margaret, Nora (Honora, Hanora), Helen, Ellie, John, Cornelius, Hannah, and Michael, all baptized in Bantry, and listed as from Gortnacowley. Griffith's mentions a Cornelius Cotter who rents a small house in Gortnacowly in the 1850s, and the census records from 1901 & 1911 show Cotters in this very small townland. Nora was my great grandmother. She, her sister Margaret (Maggie) and perhaps Michael emmigrated to the US (Newton, Massachusetts) in 1895, 1895, and 1902 respectively. I'm having trouble tracing the family backwards before 1841, struggling to verify that Michael did & that siblings other than Nora & Margarget did not come to the US, and getting frustrated that I can't figure out if/how these Cotters are related to other Cotters in the Bantry area. Can anyone help? Thanks! Kate
