Descendants of Shoreditch and Bethnal Green Coulson`s
Nathan Coulson and Susannah Fordham were married at St Leonards church Shoreditch England in 1829, they had 3 children Nathan, Elizabeth and Susannah. Nathan married Elizabeth[surname unknown] , they had 3 children Nathan walter, Edward and Caroline.
The 1901 census shows descendant Walter Nathan Coulson [who was originally christened Nathan Walter ] living at 85 Branch Place Hoxton London N1. His wife was Maria[surname unknown] and they had 8 children, George, Edward, Albert,William,James, Eliza, Ada and my grand father Ernest. My father tells me that Ernest and one of his brothers travelled to USA whilst mariners in the merchant navy. Ernest returned to the UK c.1929 and his brother stayed in the USA.
