My great grandfather Joseph Charles Coulson was born in London 1872/3 and died at the Somme in 1916. I think he had a sister called Annie, and his father was Thomas.(Thomas was from Essex) Joseph married twice, firstly to Elizabeth Martin and had 5 children, (Joseph 1897, Nell 1900, Florence 1901, then Albert and Walter) His second wife was called Winifred. As a young man Joseph was a butcher with his father, then he became a rail guard before joining (and then rejoining in Kitchener's army) the Middlesx Regt.

I would really love to trace some relatives, and if anyone thinks they may have a connection to anyone here I'd love to hear from you.
