My Gx4 grandfather is James Coultas.
I know that he married Martha Dixon on 25Aug1831 (She was born abt 1806 in Yeadon) and was the father of Samuel Coultas (b abt 1832 in Yeadon). My assumption is that James was also born in the very early 1800's.
I have been unable to find his birth date, birthplace, etc. I have found at least one James Coultas who emigrated to Ohio, US., but if this is my James, he had to have abandoned his wife and son... Any ideas/suggestions?
