This appears to be an older (1999) post and there may be a lot more information that has been provided regarding Richard and Hannah Coultas of Yorkshire, England who appear to have emigrated to the State of Ohio in the United States in the early 1820's. I took great interest in this because of my direct descent from them on my mother's (Marian Eagon Blowers) side. One of Richard and Hannah Coultas' children was Robert Coultas, who married Thamer Dement and settled in Noble Co, Ohio. They are my Great Great Grandparents. They had several children, one of whom was Emily J. Coultas who married Jasper Eagon of Quaker City, Ohio. They had two children, one of whom was Lawrence Coultas Eagon, my late maternal grandfather, who passed away in 1969. Perhaps others on here have already learned this information (regarding Emily Coultas and her descendants) but I thought I would add this in case that information had not been available. Thanks to everyone who have provided information on my ancestors. I am learning a lot. Was totally unaware of our roots in Yorkshire, which makes me proud---I love Yorkshire and am an Anglophile. The Blowers family is from the region of East Anglia in England.
