My great great grandmother was a slave belonging to David dhisholme, she married Edward chisholm aslo a slave belonging to the chisholm family. My great great grandmother had a son by the name of Alex coulter, I am told that he could pass for white. Around 1855 they were taken to Gainesville , florida and enslaved there. There was also a white Alex coulter who was a overseer who came from SC also. If you come across any information please email me.
