I am looking for the father of George W. Colter/Coulter who married Caroline Musselman on 8 Nov 1846 in Musingum Co., Ohio.

George W. Coulter age 26 BORN IN VA
Caroline (she was born Musselman) age 23
George W. Coulter born in Ohio and age 1
Marbaret MUSSELMAN-Caroline's mother

ON THE 1860 LICKING CO. OHIO they had:

George W. Coulter age 36---BORN IN VA
George W. age 12
Margaret age 9
Caroline age 7
Lewis age 9
Caroline MANKIN age 13 born in OH

In his 1894 Obituary and on his son's death certificate, it said George was born in District of Columbia--WAshington, DC.

Any help in tracing this COULTER family is welcomed.
