I am looking for information on Felix Counter b. Abt 1831 in Canada and his wife Sophia. The 1880 census shows them living in Minnesota with three children: Amelia Counter (my ancestor), Delia Counter and Louis(?) Counter. Amelia married John Stevens b. Oct 18, 1854 in Wisc or NY on March 11, 1880 in Freeborn County, MN. Their children were said to be half Indian. I am not sure if this from the Stevens side or the Counter side. Any information would be appreciated.
