I think that this is Alfred's (Shorty) earlier family. They appear to have had money, at least while the Father in law was alive, as they had a house servant.

MY GG Grandfather is Alfred*****, born 1863. He married an Emma (still do not have info on her yet), and had a son named William (This is MY G GF, JOHN WILLIAM I have mentioned in previous posts) I do not know (yet) if Alfred & Emma had other children (want to find them!) but I know John William was called Willie, and he married a Winifred Gallagher.
