Mrs. Sophia Coury Called From Life

CAMBRIDGE, O. -- Mrs. Sophia Coury, 68, died Friday morning (May 7, 1954) at Guernsey Memorial hospital.

The deceased was born at Lebanon, Syria, and came to the United States in 1914.

A member of St. Benedicts Catholic church she is survived by five children: Rose, Margaret and Shaffey Courey of the home; Fred Coury of Michigan and Mrs. Mary Andrews of New Concord; five grand children; one sister and two brothers.

The body was removed to the Corwin funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Sunday evening.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at St. Benedict's Catholic church with Rev. Fr. William Riley officiating and burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
