Gail; this reply may be a long time coming, but I happen to be searching for the Coventry family, too. The farthest I can list my ancestors for that family is one Elizabeth Coventry, who came from Ireland to Canada in 1854. We have since found some records that she came from somewhere in County Donegal, but may have left from Cork. After she arrived in Ontario, she married a Jonathan Thompson, who came to Ontario about 1876(?). We do have a single line of descendancy, but I haven't been able to search back anything further beyond Donegal. If you have any ties at all, amongst your Coventry line, please let me know.
