Search; Henry COWLEY b. ca 1740-1760, MD,TN or PA, married ca.1785 to Mary SHANNON dau of Thomas SHANNON,probate 1797,York Co. PA. Please help. Henry might have come from MD or TN and ended up in PA. After the 1797, York Co. PA probate of wife, Mary's father,Thomas Shannon, Henry and Mary Shannon Cowley moved to Washington Co. PA 1800 - 1806 and then to Ross Co. IA where they lived until death. Their children; John b.ca 1885 TN PA or MD, and Joseph ca. 1891 -PA, James 1897 - PA, Mary, Sarah, and Susannah, married to mates in subject line.
