10 Generations of Cowserts
My name is Therese and I live in Southern Illinois. My married name is Cowsert. I have my family's line down through 10 generations, but have hit a bump and was hoping someone might have some information that could help me go further back than Thomas Cowsert (b. 1760 in Armagh County, Ireland, died 9-6-1797 in Chester, SC.) who married Agnes Jones in 1787 in Ireland (she was also born in Ireland).
My family line goes as follows:
Thomas & Agnes (Jones)
James (b. 1780) & Elizabeth Hamilton (came to US in 1790)
George Washinton (b. 1813) & Sarah Soward
Attwell (1845) & Margaret Elizabeth Rodgers
Thomas Franklin (1882/83) & Nora Mitchell
Dawsey Temple Obadiah (1919) & Idabell Stricklin
Thomas Dawsey (1944) & Brenda Horton
Therese & Milford Alan Sisney
our 4 daughters
our granddaughter
I'd really appreciate any information on the Cowserts in Ireland.
