Surnames: Coy, Saulpaugh
hi, I'm just starting to find out about my family, but I can tell you my grandmother was Ellen Coy Saulpaugh b 9/9/1901 daughter of Richard Coy who was in the US Navy and retired and died in the Old Soldiers Home on Long Island. I remember being told her heritage was English, French and Irish. I am not sure, but I believe her mother was Cora, but of that I may be wrong. The family lived in NYC/Yonkers area with my great grandmother and grandmother coming to spend the summers at a summer cottage near the Astor Estate in Rhinebeck NY, later on my grandmother met and married my Grandfather Frank E. Saulpaugh b. 1/23/1900 d. 6/17/1989 sometime during the 1920's had two children Ellen Luella Theresa b. 2/9/1932 and Francis b. 5/23/1927 both children still living
