I was born in Westmoreland County, PA also. I went to my hometown for a wedding in mid-April and met a young man working at the hardware store who said his last name was Coy. It turned out his parents brought him from Scotland when he was a baby and he couldn't connect to any Coys who were in PA over 200 years ago.

I never knew anyone named Coy while I was growing up there.
