I did make contact with Shirley Beeching who turned out to be my 5th cousin. (Her responses are with my original query) I just checked the family info she sent me for the descendants of Jacob Coy and Barbara Freed and they did not have a son named George. In fact, Jacob was born in 1791 so George could be his younger brother.

Hopefully, Shirley will respond to this query if she has any information for a George Coy. Jacob and Barbara went to Wayne County, Ohio from Westmoreland County, PA.
