Perhaps you don’t need to go to the Raleigh archives after all. Looked through my pre-Ancestry.com correspondence. This reference to the same file I mentioned came from Dee Ann Buck through Sue Carrington Stewart:
LDS #1977620 Inventories gathered by surname units – Clayton through Day
Frame #1194-2101 Hiram Cozart, died in summer 1816. This file names all children of James Cozart and Sarah Brinkley as well as the husbands of the daughters. The husband of Jemima Cozart, daughter of James and Sarah, is identified as William Henry.
The letter was wrapped in a flyer announcing the 1999 Family Reunion of all descendants, relatives and related lines of the Carrington, Cozart and Bolen families of West Tennessee at the Parker's Crossroads City Park Building. These reunions still being held?
