I have a number of pieces of correspondence from 1936 written by a Mary Cozens, return address "Tomoye", 4th Avenue, Frinton-on-Sea, Essex (England). From these it appears she was staying at a friend's flat in London in January 1936, doing charity work for "the Queen" (presumably, Queen Mary, wife of George V). She mentions a friendship with a recently-deceased London physician, Dr. George C. Duncan, and with a violinist named Valentina Crespi.

She is also mentioned in other correspondence I have as "Miss Mary Cozens"; thus I presume she was unmarried.

Would anyone know of a way to trace the identity of this Mary Cozens?

Many thanks for any leads or suggestions.
