George Crab, age 17, was accused of Robbery-Murder and was Hung in Tennessee in 1866.

Looking for info on Ymkje Sydses Crab from St. Anna parochie in Holland. She was married to Sipke Jans Boersma. The only record I have is their names on their sons Marriage certificate in 1849.

I am looking of the family of John Crab of Sumner Co TN
His will is dated 2 Jan 1828 and proven Aug 1830
"Tract whereon I live plus 50 A to son Knight Crab, the balance to be divided between Susannh Crab Moore, Priceton Crab and Nancy Crab Cowgan/Cowger
EX Jams Strother and Elijah Busby
Wt King Luton and James Luton
SUMNER CO TN
He is also listed on the 1819 tax list Sumner Co TN

Hi there,
There have been several variant spellings on the basic "Crab", eg Craib, Crabb, Crabbie, Crabbs, Crabbe, Crable so I wondered if you have had any connection with any of the other spellings?
Within my own family I have seen documents with the Crab, Crabb Crabbe spellings and i understand that this is not uncommeon with other Crabbe researchers.
