We recently received a Y DNA profile from a descendant of Archelous Craft b. 1749 NC. This descendant tested with another project so the results are not posted on our project’s website. This profile does not match the one we have from a descendant of Ezekiel Craft b. 1762 NC. These men were thought to be brothers. We either have a mistake in someone’s paper trail or these men were not brothers. We need many more participants to prove or disprove their relationship. If you are a male with the Craft surname, please consider joining our project. Even if you are a known descendant of another male Craft ancestor, your Y DNA profile might help us find that other father if there is one.
