Our g-g-grandfather was Wallace A Chaudoin. His mother was Mary Jane Creasman (Crissmon, Chrisman) She appeared as a 5 yr old on 1840 census in Monroe Co Tn with Wallace A Creasman and wife Biddy Scrimsher. Wallace Creasman was shown as born in NC and he served in military during the military removal, with 2 other Creasmans (I believe one was named Adam). Wallace was born 5/1819 in NC and died 5/10/1839 Monroe Co Tn. Mary Jane was born 1834 in Tn (based on 1840 census info) and died in Texas, we don't know where or when. Our problem is determing who Mary Jane's parents were. Biddy never had children with Wallace but he remarried after her death and had children. They moved to Lavaca Co Texas. Has the name Wallace Alexander Creasman appeared in any of your searching or Mary Jane?
