Do you have anything on the line of descent for ALAN CREECH? I have been trying to research this on the Internet ... because I thought he might have been descended from my gr.-uncle, Stephen Nelson CREECH, and wife, Mary Saloan (Allen) CREECH. This couple died at Bowmont in Canyon County, Idaho, just two weeks apart in 1944. Stephen Nelson Jr. and wife, Goldie Magdelina (Story) CREECH, lived at Nampa at one time, I believe, and they had a son, Nelson Junior CREECH.

However, the more I research this, the more unlikely a connection seems. According to Alan Creech's obituary, he was of Native American descent and was born at Boise, ID. It doesn't even give the names of his parents, just says that he was survived by his foster parents. (Based on all the info published about him in the days after his death in a small plane crash this past summer, it sounds as if he was a well-liked, even revered figure and an truly upstanding citizen!)
