I too am descended from various Creech and Roberts families in the Barnwell area. The Creech line is pretty far back and begins with Jane Ann Creech.

The Roberts family is not so distant but still 150 years back. Esther Roberts, daughter of Stephen Roberts and Sarah Grimes is that connection. Stephen was born in 1787, died 1824. Esther lived around Allendale and married Wilson Williams. Stephens mother was Amy Creech according to my records.
