Creedon family

I'm just beginning my search but I may have some information that can be helpful- my grandmother, Margaret Creedon, was born in Ballylongford, County Kerry, Ireland in 1873. She was the oldest of the six children of Cornelius Creedon and Ellen Harty/Harte/Hardy(?). Her father was an ornamental plasterer (according to family stories) who brought her to the US after receiving letters from 2 of his wife's sisters who had moved to Georgia and suggested that they send "Maggie". Many years ago, a relative tried to find information about these 2 women in Georgia but was not successful. Margaret Creedon was married some years after arriving in New York City- to my grandfather, John Murphy. He died probably in 1914- in New York. His mother's maiden name was Bresnahan (?). This may be too recent to interest anyone searching for older records, but after WWII, my father visited a cousin, another Cornelius Creedon, owner of a cement company in Ireland. The photo that I have shows several young people, probably Cornelius' children, and a large home. The only other real info that I have is that an earlier ancestor, probably of the Bresnahan family, came to the US from Ireland on a ship named the Topscot. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has information on these families.
