Dorothy Allen Creen, 89, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully Friday, May 6, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Creen; loving mother of Tim Creen, Jayme (Mike) Bauer and Bruce (Jane) Creen; caring grandmother of Michael (Kara) Bauer and Brian Bauer;
sister of the late Dr. Dan (Anne) Allen;
and aunt of Betty Anne Lowery, Dan Allen Jr., Carol (Glenn) Eaton and Maureen (Ken) Engel.
Visitation and service
will be private.
Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.

I'm writing an article on a fire that destroyed the Hamilton (Ontario) Street Railway barns in 1908. This fire killed a fireman, Roy Creen of Hamilton. I'm trying to find any descendants of Roy Creen and if they have any details about Roy or his family after the tragedy.

I am the granddaughter of Harry and Marguerite Creen. They had three sons-Roy, Howard (my father) and William. I do not have very much family history but can fill in my cousins and their children and grandchildren. I live in Colorado.

In a census a family member found an Annie Creen, widow, mother of Rufus Joseph Creen and Isabella. Rufus is the father of my grandmother Isabelle Creen born 10/05/1905. Rufus was married to Charlotte Kerner who divorced him. Rufus was thought to be a hard man. Aside from my grandmother he had another daughter Jessica, and sons Rufus Jr. and Joseph. Any information about this family would be appreciated. My father said he had a cousin Billy Creen. We would like to know where the family came from and when and Rufus fathers name as well. My father thought it was Bruno, other think it may have been Rufus as well. I never knew my grandmother as she died very young. Thank you!
